    This week at my WLE what I did for my project is i changed it because in the class that I teach they are learning about different cultures and so I decided to do my project about culture and the culture that I want to teach these group of 4th grade girls is Peru and another why I wanted to change it is because their is a little girl in that class that her parents are from Peru so she is going to be helping and doing this project with me. Another thing that I have done for my WLE is start brainstorming about the things I want to talk about Peru and what I want this group of girls to learn about this culture. Also the girl that will be doing this with me was giving ideas about what to talk about and what to do. Another thing that I did for the project is when am I going to be doing this teaching to the girls. So my plan to finish this project in the next two weeks is really plan out what I am going to teach this group of girls about the culture of Peru. Also I am going to be going to my WLE on Wednesdays so that I can work on my project and get more hours that i need. Also another thing that I am planing so that I will finish my project in the next three weeks is Roise my mentor gave me a calendar so that I can plan all the things that I am going to be doing for the next three weeks and in this calendar I have to put the times I am going to be working on my WLE porject at home. So a benchmark that I am doing for myself is have all the things that I am going to be talking about the culture of Peru. Also do my project to the class on the last day of WLE. So the what I am going to be doing so that I can catch up on my hours is go to the school on Wednesdays and maybe be going some other
 
 
 The first thing that I did at my internship was have my meeting with Ms. B and my mentor Rosie. Then after the meeting was over I had training with Rosie and  what we did was talk about how we should time manage different things and why time management is important. We did an activity on time management and what we had to do is we had a list of things we had to do during the whole week and put them at what time we would do these things, but with that list Rosie already put things that we are already doing. After we came back from lunch we found out that the students at the school site get out of school early that day and we would have to go earlier to the school site than other times. When we went to the school site the girls where going to have a celebration of the girls that where behaving good and they have this celebration at the end of every month. When I was with my group of 4th grade girls I had to make hot chocolate for them and pretty much it was a very chill day. So we left the school site early that day and came back to girls inc. and worked on thinking of ideas of small projects we can do with the girls like games, art projects , and also on the main project we have to do for the WLE. I thing that I accomplished was brainstorming ideas of things of small project and also on the WLE project. I know that we should have 35 hours in your internship by now but I only have 31 hours which I am a little bit behind and I think it will not be that hard for me to catch up on the hours. The thing that I will be doing to catch up on my 4 hours that I am missing is coming early like I do everyday and talk to Rosie on what other time can I come to makeup the hours that I am missing. For my WLE project I was thinking of doing is teach the girls at the school site how to play softball and the reason that I decided on doing this for my project is because the girls seem to like being outside doing fun activities and also teaching the girls how to play a sport that they might want to play when they become older or encourage girls to want to play a sport outside of school and join a team. The things that I am planing for my project is to teach the girls the basic things of how to play softball, but i am still thinking of how l  be teaching them on how to play this sport in a fun way that they will all enjoy. 
 
 
The leadership skills that I am using at my internship is collaborate productively and communicate powerfully. The ways that I am using these skills at my internship is  when I go and work with the girls at the school i have to communicate productively because so that they can understand me when I am doing something with them or when they are not behaving well with each other or with me. Another way I use this skill is with the people that I work around with so with my mentor and the other to girls that is at the same internship as m The way that I use this skills with the other interns is because we do a training before we go to the school and when we are doing this training we have to do an activity with each other. Another skill that I use at my WLE is communicate powerfully because when I have to talk to the girls I have to explain things to them well so that they can understand them or when they need help and try to explain thing differently so that they can understand. I really don't know which skills I am developing in my WLE where I can not develop in class at Impact. I think that skills that I am using at my internship that I have learned at Impact is all of the skills that we have because I have to really think about the project that I want to do for my internship and how I am going to do the project. Also when I am working with they girls on how to make thing fun and help them with different things. Another thing is when I am doing training with Rosie on how to deal with  things with the young girls that I am working with and when she give me an activity to do. The way that my role is different from being a student  into being an intern because you are working at a work place and for me it something that I like to do. Also you have a boss and if you mess up you really can't do anything because it not like when you mess up on your grades you can fix them and make them better.
 
 
Well the type of internship that I am looking for is a place where I will be working with young kids and a place that I would want to work at is at a school. The things that I have been doing to get an internship is calling places like at a school that they are not calling me back and other places are at day cares but they keep on telling me that they don't want an intern. Another thing that I have done is got help from Ms. Becht after school and a student gave me a number from their mentor so that I can try to get an internship at that school. I called this school last week and they told me that I need to call them back on Tuesday because they have to ask teacher if they are willing to have someone intern for them and if they would be interested in doing this. So i will be finding out maybe today if I can intern at this school.
